How to download Instagram media on Android
Copy a public Instagram link, process it in Chrome, and save the returned file to your device.

Open the Instagram post
Find the public Reel, video, photo, or Story that you have permission to save.

Copy the link
Use the Share menu and tap Copy link.

Open Chrome
Open this site in a recent version of Chrome or another modern Android browser.

Paste and process
Paste the link into the downloader and select Download.

Choose an available file
When the result appears, select the media item you want to save.

Use the Files app or Chrome Downloads screen to find the saved media.

Where is the file stored?
Most Android browsers use the device Downloads folder. You can find it through Files or the browser download manager.
Can I save to an SD card?
That depends on your browser and Android storage settings. Choose a different download location if your browser offers the option.
